DRI is a research and development company with subsidiaries focused on airborne collision avoidance, unmanned aerial vehicles, homeland security technology and alternative fuel development.  Each subsidiary oversees the development of multiple candidates.

Airborne Situational Awareness System (ASAS)

  • ASAS is an airborne avoidance system compromised of the latest in microchip technology
  • ASAS is comprised of a microchip driven Global Positioning System (GPS), transceiver section, micro processor section, LCD display, audio and collision avoidance proprietary software.
  • ASAS addresses both the needs government and civilian aviation future requirements.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)

  • The DRI Unmanned Aerial Vehicle program is based on proven airframes that have been manned flight certified by the FAA.  These airframes are inexpensive kits that meet an area of UAV development not touched by other companies.
  • The development of these UAV’s will be a coordination of several companies under the leadership of DRI.
  • The prospective market for the UAV is extensive, from homeland security to infrastructure monitoring, including oil pipelines, electric power lines, and water coastal monitoring.
  • Each of the UAV’s will maintain a capability of manned flight as well as autonomous flight. These UAV’s may also be used for search and rescue operations as well as re-supply operations to remote locations.

The research and development of each subsidiary will vary depending on the market conditions, stage of development, and competition in the market.

The DRI senior management team has substantial experience in the military and avionics fields. They understand how the research, development and commercialization processes come together to build a successful brand. Collectively the leadership has formed several companies that have provided a significant return to investors.
